The negative of the Gibbs free energy divided by the absolute temperature.

Examples

The temperature derived from the Planck function is referred to as the brightness temperature ( which see, for derivation ).
This set of assumptions leads directly to the mean intensity and source function being directly equivalent to a blackbody Planck function of the temperature at that optical depth.
